  • If you prefer an easy replacement process, buy a lamp with housing.
  • Alternatively, choose a bare bulb without housing if you already have experience with replacing bare bulbs and are willing to deal with the more challenging replacement process.
  • If you do not want to compromise on projection quality and reliability, choose an original manufacturer lamp.
  • If you prefer a cheaper option and projection quality and reliability are not your top priorities, buy a generic lamp.
  • A suitable compromise is an original bulb inside (or Diamond) lamp. It provides the quality of an original lamp, although for a better price.

All you need to do is loosen a few screws in the projector, remove the entire lamp housing, and replace it with the new one. You can choose from 2 lamp options - original bulb inside or diamond.

  • Original bulb Inside

    The OPTOMA HD3300 original bulb inside includes a bulb from one of the OEM manufacturers (Osram P-VIP, Philips UHP, Ushio, Matsushita, Iwasaki HSCR) and has plastic housing from a generic manufacturer. This is a very reliable solution and is cheaper than the original manufacturer option. We recommend it thanks to its reliability and affordable price.

Replacing a bare bulb in the original projector lamp housing is more challenging than replacing the entire lamp housing. You can choose from two bare bulb options - original or generic.

  • Original lamp without housing

    The original OPTOMA HD3300 lamp is a bare bulb from one of the OEM manufacturers (Osram P-VIP, Philips UHP, Ushio, Matsushita, Iwasaki HSCR) and is designed to replace the lamp in your existing lamp housing. This solution is cheaper than a lamp with housing, although it requires a certain amount of manual skills. This option is recommended for customers who already have some experience with bare bulb replacement.

  • Generic lamp without housing

    The OPTOMA HD3300 generic lamp is a bare bulb without plastic housing and is produced by an authorised manufacturer of generic bulbs. Keep in mind that replacing the bulb in the housing requires manual skills and tools. It is the cheapest option recommended for in-home use, where projection quality and reliability are not as crucial. Even though generic bulbs are not necessarily of the same quality as original manufacturer bulbs, their price nevertheless is very attractive.
