For your EPSON EX90 projector, you can choose from: lamps with housing or bare bulbs from original and generic manufacturers...

  • If you prefer an easy replacement process, buy a lamp with housing.
  • Alternatively, choose a bare bulb without housing if you already have experience with replacing bare bulbs and are willing to deal with the more challenging replacement process.
  • If you do not want to compromise on projection quality and reliability, choose an original manufacturer lamp.
  • If you prefer a cheaper option and projection quality and reliability are not your top priorities, buy a generic lamp.
  • A suitable compromise is an original bulb inside (or Diamond) lamp. It provides the quality of an original lamp, although for a better price.

    The EPSON EX90 original bulb inside includes a bulb from one of the OEM manufacturers (Osram P-VIP, Philips UHP, Ushio, Matsushita, Iwasaki HSCR) and has plastic housing from a generic manufacturer. This is a very reliable solution and is cheaper than the original manufacturer option. We recommend it thanks to its reliability and affordable price.

Replacing a bare bulb in the original projector lamp housing is more challenging than replacing the entire lamp housing. You can choose from two bare bulb options - original or generic.

  • Original lamp without housing

    The original EPSON EX90 lamp is a bare bulb from one of the OEM manufacturers (Osram P-VIP, Philips UHP, Ushio, Matsushita, Iwasaki HSCR) and is designed to replace the lamp in your existing lamp housing. This solution is cheaper than a lamp with housing, although it requires a certain amount of manual skills. This option is recommended for customers who already have some experience with bare bulb replacement.
