Reading the Indicators
- When the lamp indicator flashes in red, it might mean Lamp Error or Lamp Failure. If this happens, firstly check the following two points:
- Take out the lamp for EPSON EB-460 and check whether it is cracked.
- Clean the air filter.
- If it is not cracked: Reinstall the lamp and turn on the power.
- If the error continues: Replace the lamp with a new one and then turn on the power.
- If the error continues: Stop using the projector, disconnect the power cable from the electrical outlet, and contact your local service center.
- If it is cracked: Replace it with a new lamp, or contact your local dealer for further advice. If replacing the lamp yourself, be careful to avoid pieces of broken glass (you cannot continue projecting until the lamp is replaced).
- When using the projector at an altitude of 1500 m or more, set High Altitude Mode to On.
- When the lamp indicator flashes in orange, it’s time for lamp replacement.
- Replace it with a new lamp. If you continue to use the lamp after the replacement period has passed, the possibility that the lamp may blow increases. Replace it with a new lamp as soon as possible.
